Turning the traditional business model on it's head

Political and economic turmoil is the order of the day. Big change is blowing in the wind. Everyone can sense this now. The question many are asking is what replaces the old? To this end many interesting social experiments have sprung up. And now the UN-guru has entered the fray.

I am an online businessman who makes his living off the internet. I am not making some extraordinary fortune. I am making a living. And I have all the time I need to devote to my children. Doesn't sound all glamorous, like the internet guru who has made millions of dollars, I know, but I like my life:) And my kids are high on my list of values, so I cannot place a value on "having time for them"!

I approach business the same way I do life, from a deep spiritual understanding that we are on this planet to help each other. And so I ask myself what is going to become of the business world in the future? How should we do business in a perfect world? From a place of honest integrity is the quick answer. But what does that mean?

I have come across soooo many "Internet Gurus" who are all selling you their secret formula for making millions off the internet. The best part is that they all offer "special bonuses" with a combined value that is more that the cost of their course. How is that even possible? Who are they kidding? Do you buy that line of crap for one second? I don't! And I am sick and tired of it. Tell me the truth and don't make up BS values for the cheesey "special bonuses" you are offering. Inflated values is the chief cause of the current sub-prime mortgage disaster in the US. It's only a matter of time before those gurus suffer their own market collapse.

To my mind, if you have a fool-proof system to teach people how to make millions off the internet, you would teach them for free in return for a small percentage of their business.

I think it is time to turn this model on it's head and that's what I have started to do.

I am going to take on the mantel of UN-guru. I am NOT going to give you a formula. I am going to give you options, endless possibilities. You may or may not find value in what I offer, I don't really mind either way. But I am going to GIVE this information away in the belief that it really is of value, and the universe will return a like value to me. I also know that this information is going to most benefit people who cannot afford to do those expensive (and likely worthless) courses mentioned above. I am going to GIVE my knowledge in absolute faith that those who find value in it will return some of that value to me, in some way.

I don't have all the answers or some sure fire method for making millions. I don't think that exists. I believe that each person is unique and we each have our own value systems. So what works for one will not always work for the next. I believe that the best way to make money off the internet is to follow your passion and awaken your genius there. We all have a highest value and while we are engaged in activities that support that highest value, we tap into genius. And we are happy:) Where many people get stopped is in converting the passionate genius into something tangible. This UN-guru is simply going to explore some of the possibilities that are available. I cannot tell you what will work for you, I don't even want to. I simply want you to awaken what is already inside you. I want to show you the options available in the hope that it will spark something, that it will provide an outlet for you to share your genius with the world.

I know that many people are looking for the next internet "get-rich-quick" scheme. If you are one of those, I have nothing to offer you. But if you want to be happy in what you do, I can possibly show you the way. It starts with deciding your passion. What do you want to contribute to this planet and all it's people? What makes you the most happy? I believe that we have to engage in work activities that fulfill us, that give us a sense of worth. All the money in the world will not make you happy if you are not fulfilling your highest value in some way. So, what is your passion?

Start from there and you have a solid foundation. You have something that is very real for you, something that has value to you. From here onward, you can only build and grow from strength to strength. Please see the webinars I will be doing on how to turn this passion into money. We all need to live and to do so, right now, we need money. What I am suggesting is not about chasing dreams with no perceivable value, it is about creating value out of your genius. And I will be looking at solid, practical ways to do this, not pie-in-the-sky theories. I do not have a formula or plan for you. I will simply show you the options, you can do as you please with the info:)

Ok, but this still does not explain what you mean by "turning the business model on it's head". Up until this point, many have tried to sell their formula to get rich off the net. They have designed a course and placed a value on it. You cough up the value and you get access to their course. I am taking another approach. I am not offering a formula. I am not claiming to have all the answers or some quick get rich scheme. I am simply offering my knowledge. The things I have learned, doing what I do. I am going to package and distribute this knowledge via a series of webinars. BUT I am not going to determine the value of this info. For me, in the new world, the buyer determines the value, not the seller. So as the seller or provider, I give my product away. Anyone who wants can have it for nothing. And those who think it has value for them and want to return some of that value may do so by donating to me. But each person must determine for themselves if it has value. This is, I believe, the correct way to 'value' commodities in the new world.

Long live the UN-guru! Remember, the UN-guru is not a person. The UN-guru is a reflection of the genius in you, who is just waiting and wanting to burst forth on the world at large.
